Where do I begin. yes this property is on the slightly old side but it is upkept well and the service is impeccable and that makes the difference in any stay. I visited as a family with a 5 and a 2 year old. liked: - self contained resort with range of restaurants and facilities suited for children and adults - excellent room service which topped up drinking water, provided firmer pillows and toiletries on request - the standard balcony room was large and they gave a surprise tent which the kids loved. the day futon area can be converted into a bed where the five year old slept. a cot was provided for the two year old - breakfast buffet spread had a wide selection. I really enjoyed the Thai food which always had a fried rice, noodles and soup. also there was a noodle station which provided local Thai style need noodles including blue pea noodles which was very unique. breakfast staff were excellent and no request was too hard for them. - Ginja taste very quality Thai food by the beachfront with quality fine dining style service. I ate there twice. - Cucina provided the kids with pasta and pizza for the other two nights. like Ginja taste the service was impeccable. the lamb shank was superb and my wife enjoyed the lamb ragout home made gnocchi - Siam deli was a good lunch spot where the kids are fish and chips and ice cream - excellent gym! the best I have ever used. very new equipment and very large. excellent sauna with cold plunge pool. - kids club staff was superb. entertained my kids during the afternoon. my 5 year old enjoyed the Thai lesson and enjoyed playing balls games with the very friendly staff. - greenery and gardens are very lush and tropical. - very nice tropical vibe and decor across the property.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days to celebrate her milestone birthday. This hotel is perfect in every aspect. Let me highlight some of the best things: -Checkin was smooth and they upgraded us to a ground floor terrace room, from where you can just walk out to the pool and beach - the rooms were spacious, clean and modern - the beach was the best part. See my photos. Long clean strip of beach, almost private. The water was lovely and the waves were mild. They also have beach surf boards and other toys to rent. - the service at the pool side was phenomenal. They got you cold water and towels as soon as you arrived. Prompt food and drink services. I will thank the extremely polite servers there. - Spa- the highlight of the trip!!! I’ve never been to a better spa in my life. Beautiful couple spa rooms and just extraordinary service. They even gave a cake to cut for her birthday. - food: great breakfast at the buffet restaurant. - pools: 3 very large and nice pools with diffferent layout. - the guests and crowd: all the guests were really good and no one created noise or a ruckus. This is really important in a large resort like this. - M Beach club: really cool place by the beach to have drinks. Again with phenomenal staff. If you wanna go to thailand for a vacation, please chose this. The location is 20 mins north of Phuket airport. Paying beach is about 1 hour south of this resort. You can rent an all day Grab to visit patong.

We absolutely loved our stay at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa. The room was well-laid out for our family of four and we enjoyed the Thai-inspired design. The buffet breakfast was impressive with many delicious options, both local and Western. We appreciate the excellent service at the JW Cafe in the mornings, in particular from Phon Koy Pray. While we were surprised that there were no loungers on the beach (I understand it’s because the property is within a protected area), the hotel amenities more than made up for it. Between boat tours and the elephant sanctuary, we enjoyed lazy days by the pool where we were well-cared for by Love and Marn at the Rim Nam Pool Bar. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the quality of the kids club. It was difficult to pull our kids away as they enjoyed many fun activities and crafts. Special shout out to Nui. The availability of a Night Camp meant that my husband and I were able to enjoy beautiful sunset dinners at Ginja Taste. Everything there was incredible - the food, the view and the service - in particular from Rainbow who was most attentive. Other highlights included feeding the turtles at the sanctuary, the Sunset Ritual and the beach buffet and fire show at the M Beach Club. I cannot recommend this resort more highly and definitely hope to return.

Staff is omnipresent, which helps driver very good service level (house keeping, breakfast, pool service). Properly is huge and very green. At first it is easy to get lost while trying to navigate. Breakfast buffet is great as long as you avoid the busy hours (after 9am). Kids club activities and drop off - my 4y old didn’t want to leave which gave us peaceful afternoons! Turtle feeding at turtle shelter. Kids slide at main pool is also fun with pool depth varying for all ages and tastes! Can’t comment really on beach and beach activities, as we had red flag due to big waves / strong current every day but choice is there whenever possible.

We enjoyed our one night stay. It was convenient for us to stay in Mariott because I the close to airport location. We loved the ambience, the decor. Mariott looked like it was celebrating something.. All restaurants full of dressed up people, music. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant, and it was good as always. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, overlooking the garden. Very beautiful territory outside, green and spacious, great to walk around.
